About us
The Friends of Bark EUROPA foundation was founded on the wish of former guests to help the shipping company with the maintenance of Bark EUROPA. Being a Friend of EUROPA, you not only support young trainees but also the ship in her existence in the coming years.
The Foundation Friends of Bark EUROPA is determined to realize our goals. However, solid financial resources are needed to make our projects possible. We hope to obtain these through donations from future Friends and entrepreneurs, through fundraising and targeted crowdfunding campaigns.

The board of the foundation is hopeful and enthusiastic to realize the objectives in the coming years. The foundation has a non-profit motive and the board of the Foundation Friends of Bark EUROPA receives no remuneration. The board is assisted by an Advisory Board. The members of the Advisory Council give solicited or unsolicited advice to the board to achieve the foundation’s purpose.
